Ongoing efforts by Iranians to trench their presence | Iranian cultural centre distributes food supplies to families in rural Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that the Iranian cultural centre in Deir Ezzor distributed food baskets to 40 families loyal to Iranian-backed militias in Hatleh town to the north of Deir Ezzor city.
According to SOHR sources, every basket contained a kilogram of meat, a litre of cooking oil, rice, sugar and lentil.
This comes as a part of ongoing efforts by Iranian-backed militias to entrench their presence in areas they dominate across Syria, gain populist support and instil their ideologies into the segments of Syrian society through wooing and impressing poor families, exploiting their dreadful living conditions.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that the Iranian Cultural Centre in Deir Ezzor City opened training courses in the field of first aids, nursing and teaching, to recruit the youth to work in positions of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia for good salaries.
