Demanding peaceful change and political transition | Al-Suwaidaa demonstrations renew for 115th consecutive day

Al-Suwaidaa province: Today, dozens gathered in Al-Karamah square in the centre of Al-Suwaidaa city, in light of the continuation of the popular uprising demanding peaceful change and political transition in the country. The demonstrators lifted placards with slogans denounce the Syrian regime and demanded the implementation of the resolution 2254.
The protests are continuing for the 115th consecutive day in Al-Suwaidaa province, affirming the determination and fulfilment of demands.
The majority of community groups and sectors, of all orientations and cultural levels participate in the demonstrations. A delegation of retired officers participated in the demonstrations on Friday, December 8, under the name of the “Veterans” delegation.
O December 5, SOHR reported that dozens of people from Al-Suwaidaa villages and towns flocked to the square of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash” in Al-Qaryah village, to participate in a sit-in protest, demanding the overthrow of the head of the Syrian regime, applying political transition of power, the implementation of UN Resolution No.2254 and the unity of the Syrians people.
