“Putin-Erdogan” area in 24 hours | Children and women among 75 civilians killed and injured in exchange of attacks between regime forces and “Al-Fath Al-Mubin”

“Putin-Erdogan” area has experinced dramatic escalation of attacks between regime forces and factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room since yesterday evening, where these attacks left many civilian casualties.

 

The escalation started with a massacre committed by regime forces in Idlib city, where seven civilians, including two children and a woman, were killed in an attack with over 35 missiles which hit civilian houses and industrial areas in the city

 

In addition, a man was killed in regime bombardment on Sarmin town in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

 

The regime bombardment in Idlib city and Sarmin town left 42 civilians injured.

 

Moreover, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on villages in western Aleppo countryside and the vicinity of Darat Izza city, but no casualties were reported.

 

Reacting to Idlib city’s massacre in, opposition factions fired missiles on Nebl and Al-Zahraa towns in Aleppo countryside, killing a boy and two women and injuring 20 other civilians, including women and children, as the missiles hit residential neighbourhoods.

 

Also, artillery shells were fired from areas controlled by factions of the “National Front of Liberation” in northern Aleppo countryside on positions in Nebl and Al-Zahraa towns in Aleppo.

 

Similarly, a boy and a girl were injured in a bombardment by regime rocket launchers in the early hours of Sunday morning on residential neighbourhoods in Darat Izza city in the western countryside of Aleppo, as a response to the bombardment on Nebl and Al-Zahraa.

 

Accordingly, the number of civilian casualties during the recent escalation by regime forces and factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room in “Putin-Erdogan” in the past 24 hours has risen to 75, they are as follows:

 

  • Seven civilians were killed in Idlib city.

 

  • A civilian was killed in Sarmeen town.

 

  • 42 civilians were injured in Idlib city.

 

  • Three civilians were killed in Neble and Al-Zahraa towns.

 

  • 20 civilians were injured in Neble and Al-Zahraa towns.

 

  • Two civilians were injured in Darat Izza.

 

Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 433 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 638 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 265 combatants and 252 civilians, including 25 women and 48 children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • 116 civilians, including 15 women, 45 children, a civil defence member and a nurse, were killed by regime forces.

 

  • 392 members of regime forces, including 27 officers.

 

  • An Afghan militiaman of “Liwaa Fatemiyoun.”

 

  • Five members of the Syrian Hezbollah.

 

  • 97 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, including a French jihadist.

 

  • 14 members of the jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawhid.”

 

  • One member of “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement.

 

  • Two members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

 

  • One member of “Hurras Al-Din” organisation.

 

  • The Commander-in-chief of Russian Special Tasks Forces.

 

  • A militiaman of the Iranian-backed “Liwaa Al-Baqer.”

 

  • A member of “Soqour Al-Sham.”

 

  • Six members of the “National Liberation Front
