“Komin” member assas*sinated | Four attacks by IS*IS cells leave three people kil*led in one day

Deir Ezzor province: Gunmen of ISIS on motorbikes opened fire with machineguns on a member of “Komin” working with the “Autonomous Administration” in Abo Khashab Town northern of Deir Ezzor, killing him.

It is worth noting that “Komin” is a local council.

Accordingly, the number of attacks launched by ISIS cells has risen to four, with three people killed.

SOHR sources reported that two members of the “Self-defence Forces” were injured in a new attack carried out by ISIS members on a military vehicle in the SDF-controlled town of Al-Shuhayl in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

A former member of SDF was shot dead by unidentified gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells on a motorcycle in Jazrah Al-Buhmeid village in western Deir Ezzor countryside.

Two gunmen of ISIS on a motorbike opened fire on a member of Civil Council and his companion near Khalid Bin Al-Waleed Mosque in Al-Kashkiya Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, killing him and injuring his companion.

SOHR has documented 160 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2023. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 113 persons dead:

25 civilians.

83 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

One unidentified man.

Four ISIS member.

These operations are distributed regionally as follows:

Al-Raqqah: 18 attacks left 16 combatants and three civilians dead.

Deir Ezzor: 122 attacks left 22 civilians, an unidentified man, 51 combatants and two ISIS members, including an Iraqi commander, dead.

Aleppo: Three attacks left seven combatants, including commanders, dead.

Al-Hasakah: 17 attacks left nine combatants and two ISIS members dead and others injured.
