Drones and missiles | Iran-backed groups attack a US base in Deir Ezzor countryside

A US base in Deir Ezzor countryside was subjected to two attacks by missiles and drones, carried out by Iran-backed groups.

11 missiles landed in Koniko Gas Field, where US forces are stationed, coinciding with an attack by drones at the same time on the field. However, no casualties were reported.

It is worth noting that this is the first attack of 2024.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 68 ground and aerial attacks carried out by those groups, mainly the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Those attacks caused material damage and left soldiers of the International Coalition injured.
The attacks are distributed as follows:
15 attacks on Al-Omar oil field base.
12 attack on Al-Shaddadi base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
16 attacks on Koniko gas field base.
12 attacks on the Kharab Al-Jair base in Al-Rumailan.
Eight attacks on Al-Tanf garrison.
Two attacks on Tel Baydar base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
Two attacks on the American base in Rubarya in Al-Malikiyah countryside.
One attack on Qasrek base in Al-Hasakah countryside.
