Military escalation | Civilians injured under regime shelling while Turkish forces shell regime positions near M5 road

Five civilians including two children were injured, due to artillery shelling by regime forces on the large archeological mosque and the market near the school in Sarmin Town eastern of Idlib.

Turkish forces stationed in “Putin-Erdogan” area fired missiles on regime positions in saraqib and Khan Al-Sabl near the road between Damascus and Aleppo “M5.”

On the same context, regime forces fired highly explosive missiles on the frontlines of Al-Sirmaniya Village in Hama countryside and Al-Sheikh Sandiyan Village in Idlib countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that two members of the Jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawhid” were injured in artillery fire by regime forces on Al-Faterah village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in the villages of Sfuhen and Al-Bara in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Kafr Taal and Kafr Ammah villages in western Aleppo and the frontlines of Kabana in Jabal Al-Akrad in northern Latakia.

On the other hand, HTS fired mortars on Tel Malak in northern Latakia.
Also, “Ansar Al-Tawhid” fire mortars on Al-Malajah village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, which caused material damage only.
This coincided with frequent flights by Russian drones over Jabal Al-Zawiyah, Jabal Al-Akrad and Sahl Al-Ghab.
