Deir Ezzor | Members of joint patrol between International Coalition and SDF arrest a dignitary of Al-Shahil

Deir Ezzor province: Members of a joint military patrol of the “International Coalition” and “SDF” stormed the house of a dignitary of Al-Shahil City in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and arrested him with no information regarding the charges pressed against him, before taking him to a security centre.

On January 5, nine local gunmen were arrested, in a security operation carried out by SDF during the past hours, in Al-Shuheil town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, on charges of dealing with the regime, where they were taken to a security centre of SDF, without knowing their fate.

Deir Ezzor countryside is witnessing ongoing infiltration operations by local gunmen loyal to the regime, into villages and towns within SDF-held areas, which often results in the eruption of clashes between both sides.
