Killed with gunshot | Residents find body of man in his sixties in Al-Suwaidaa city

Al-Suwaidaa province: Residents found the body of a man in his sixth decade, who was shot in his heart, and his body shows signs of torture, beside nursing school in Al-Suwaidaa city, where the body was taken to the national hospital, without knowing the causes and motives of the crime to date.
The Syrian Observatory has documented 21 murders in regime-controlled areas since the bingeing of 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 22 fatalities, including four women, 16 men and two children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

• Daraa: Six murder crimes left six, including two women and a child people dead.

• Rif Dimashq: Four murder crimes left four, including a woman and a child dead.

• Damascus: One murder crime left a woman dead.

• Deir Ezzor: One murder crime left a man dead.

• Homs: Three murder crimes left three civilians dead.

• Hama: Two murder crimes left a young man dead.

• Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two civilians dead.

• Lattakia: One crime left two men dead.
• Al-Suwaidaa: One murder crime left a man dead.
