“Putin-Erdogan” area | Four civilians including two children injured in rocket attack by regime forces on Ariha town in Idlib countryside

Four civilians including two children sustained various injuries due to rocket fire by regime forces on Ariha town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah area in southern Idlib countryside within “Putin-Erdogan” area.

 

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Al-Fatirah village in the Jabal Al-Zawiyah area in the southern countryside of Idlib. They also fired Taftanaz town and the vicinity of Taoum town in the eastern countryside of Idlib, in addition to the villages of Kafar Taal, Al-Wasatah and Al-Qasr in the western countryside of Aleppo, within “Putin-Erdogan” area. No causalities were reported.

 

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 29 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 30 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over seven combatants and 34 civilians including four children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • Seven civilians including two children.

 

  • 21 members of regime forces, including an officer.

 

  • Two members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
