Targeting 27 positions | 23 members, including nine Syrians, killed in American airstrikes on positions in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: The number of deaths due to American airstrikes on positions within areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor and countryside has increased to 23 members, after Iranian-backed militias retrieved the bodies of the dead members that were trapped in the Iranian kitchen.
The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:
13 members were killed in American airstrikes on positions in Al-Mayadeen city.
Ten members were killed in American airstrikes on positions in Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is worth noting that nine Syrian members were among the dead members.
On the other hand, SOHR sources reported that a cautious calm prevails within areas controlled by the regime forces and Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, after a series of violent American airstrikes at night, which targeted 27 positions and resulted in the killing of 18 members of the Iranian militia as an infinite toll, where vehicles of the Iranian militias are still spread in the targeted areas in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, reaching the Syrian-Iraqi border, passing through Al-Bokamal and Al-Mayadeen cities, amid a state of alert, redeployment and repositioning of Iranian militias and the evacuation of many positions, for fear of more strikes in the coming hours.
The American strikes on Iranian militias in the areas of Deir Ezzor and its countryside caused confusion for those militias, but they do not end the Iranian presence in the region, as Iran has at least 20,000 Syrian and non-Syrian fighters spread over a geographic area extending from Al-Bokamal on the Syrian-Iraqi border, passing through Al-Mayadeen and Deir Ezzor, all the way to Jabal Al-Bushri, the depth of the Syrian desert and the T2 station.

SOHR activists reported an intense flight by American drones over Al-Bokamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, to monitor the developments and follow the movements in the region.
In parallel, Iranian militias imposed a security cordon on the positions targeted by American aircraft, and according to Syrian Observatory activists, the militias are currently preventing cars and passers-by from crossing near those positions.
The militias also blocked Bor Saied Street road and the vicinity of the Iranian kitchen, in addition to the entrances and exits of the military hospital of the regime in the region, amid intense security tightening, with the complete disappearance of the militias within Deir Ezzor city.
