For “dealing drugs” | Criminal Security of the regime arrests a network of smugglers

Deir Ezzor province: The Criminal Security of the regime forces arrested a network of 11 smugglers, who deal and consume drugs, in Deir Ezzor City in areas of the regime forces and their militias.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the arrested people have connections with several members and officers of security sides and military formations with authority and power in the region, while there are several reports against them for “dealing and consuming drugs.”

On February 4, a member of “Osoud Al-Sharqiyah” militia was killed, due to armed clashes erupted between the latter’s members on the one hand, and members of a patrol of the regime’s Criminal Security after surrounding an armed group of drug dealers.

The clashes continued for an hour with the deployment of security posts and blocking all roads at the entrances and exits of Al-Jubailiyah neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor, within the areas controlled by the regime and Iranian-backed militias.
