Military escalation | Kamikaze drones attack civil positions in Sahl Al-Ghab and Idlib with exchanged attacks between H*T*S and regime forces in Aleppo

A kamikaze drone attacked a car of a civilian in the vicinity of Qastoun Village in western Hama countryside and destroyed it.

Moreover, a kamikaze drone attacked a motorbike near Farika Village in Jisr Al-Shughour countryside and destroyed it. However, no casualties were reported.

Drones are launched from regime-held areas and became a threat to residents and civilians, after they cut a distance of more than 15 kilometres.

On the same context, regime forces fired a guided missile on a position of HTS on Basratoun frontline in western Aleppo countryside, injuring two members of HTS.

Meanwhile, HTS fired missiles on positions of the regime on Basratoun frontline.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 65 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 67 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 25 combatants and 47 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

Ten civilians, including four children and a woman.

35 members of regime forces, including an officer.

15 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
