New attack in SDF-held areas | ISIS cells kill child in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: A 13-year-old boy was shot dead by gunmen of an ISIS cell, while he was working in a petrol station in the SDF-controlled village of Al-Tawamiyah in Al-Busayrah area in northern Deir Ezzor.


SOHR has documented 41 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 24 fatalities:


  • 15 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.


  • One ISIS member.


  • Four guards worked for the Autonomous Administration.


  • Four civilians.


These operations are distributed regionally as follows:


  • Deir Ezzor: 30 attacks left seven combatants and three civilians dead.


  • Al-Hasakah: Five attacks left five combatants and a civilian dead.


  • Al-Raqqah: Five attacks left three combatants and four guards of an institution of the Autonomous Administration dead.


  • Aleppo: One attack left one ISIS member dead.
