Al-Qamishly | ISIS claims responsibility for attack on headquarters of Syrian Democratic Council

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on headquarters of Syrian Democratic Council in Al-Qamishly City, where the cells detonated a hand grenade at the headquarters.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that unidentified individuals threw a grenade on the headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in Al-Kurnish neighbourhood in Al-Qamishli city. No casualties were reported, while the attackers managed to escaped.

This coincided with the fourth conference by SDC, while no parties claimed responsibility for the attack.

Other offices belonging to political parties in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration experienced several attacks in light of the escalating security chaos.

On February 6, SOHR sources reported that unidentified people on a motorbike, affiliated with members of an “ISIS” cell, targeted the headquarters of “Future Syria Party” with bullets, in Muhaymidah town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. Only material damage was reported.
