Escalating crimes | Civilian kil*led in an attack in regime areas in Homs countryside

A civilian was killed and another was injured in an attack by unidentified gunmen on motorbikes, where the gunmen opened fire directly on several civilians transporting milk from the countryside of Jab Al-Jirah district to Hama City in the vicinity of Abo Al-Tababer Village in eastern Homs countryside.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 53 murders in regime-controlled areas since the bingeing of 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 55 fatalities, including ten women, 41 men and three children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:


Daraa: 16 murder crimes left 11 men, including four women and a child dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: Five murder crimes left three men, a woman and a child dead

Rif Dimashq: Ten murder crimes left seven men, three woman and a child dead.

Homs: Six murder crimes left six civilians dead.

Hama: Three murder crimes left three civilians dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two civilians dead.

Deir Ezzor: Five murder crimes left five men dead.

Damascus: Two murder crimes left a woman and a man dead.

Lattakia: Two murder crimes left two men and a woman dead.

Tartous: Two murder crimes left two men dead
