For “criticizing the policy” | Eighth Brigade storms a house to arrest a young man and ki*lls him

Daraa province: A young man of special needs in his 20s, was killed after his house was stormed by an armed group of the Eighth Brigade in Bosra Al-Sham City in eastern Daraa countryside, for “criticizing the policy of the Eighth Brigade on his Facebook”, where a hand grenade exploded and killed him as members of the brigade tried to approach and shoot him.

According to reliable SOHR sources, members of the leader of the Eighth Brigade “Ahmed Al-Ouda” arrested several relatives of the young man to force them to issue a statement that the young man was killed due to the explosion of a grenade inside his house, and that his group did not kill him.

Since early 2024, SOHR activists have documented 54incidents of security disorder in Daraa province, which left 65 people dead; and they are as follows:


Ten civilians, including two women and three children.

26 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.

Four men accused of “involving in drug business.”

Two members of the Russian-backed 8th Brigade.

12 ISIS members, including a commander.

Ten members of local factions.

A regime dissident colonel.

One unidentified person.
