In exchanged targeting | Regime soldier killed on frontline of northern countryside of Latakia

A regime soldier was killed, in an exchanged ground bombardment between regime forces on the one hand, and factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room on the other hand, on the Nakhshabah frontline in the northern countryside of Latakia, within “Putin-Erdogan” area.
The killed man hailed from Aleppo region and was 28 years old.
In a related context, regime forces fired heavy artillery on the vicinity of Al-Fatirah village in the southern countryside of Idlib. No causalities were reported.
Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 99 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 102 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 45 combatants and 49 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

12 civilians, including four children and a woman.

59 members of regime forces, including an officer.

26 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr
