Ongoing violations | Military police arrest eight civilians within “Olive Branch” area to collect ransoms

Aleppo province: Members of a patrol of the military police arrested, on March 11, two civilians from Kansafrah village in Jindires district in Afrin countryside for “performing the compulsory service during the control of the Autonomous Administration of Afrin,” where their whereabouts and fate remain unknown.

 

Meanwhile, members of a patrol of the military police arrested five civilians from Afrin city on a tip off from a smuggler, while they were attempting to get into Turkey through routes used for smuggling, after having come from Aleppo city.

 

It is worth noting that their fate remains unknown.

 

Similarly, members of a patrol of the military police arrested a civilian from Qarbah village in Jindires district in Afrin countryside for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration,” after he had been deported by the Turkish authorities to Afrin

 

The intelligence services affiliated with Turkey are conducting their large-escalate arrest campaigns within  “Olive Branch” area in order to collect ransoms in light of the absence of laws putting an end the their violations.
