Al-Raqqah | Asayish Forces establish security posts and run foot patrols in public places and overcrowded markets during Ramadan

Markets and public places in Al-Raqqah city have experienced unprecedented congestion, where residents seek to secure essentials needed during Ramadan and spend time in the evening in public places, mainly parks.

In this context, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) have established security posts and run foot patrols over the day in overcrowded areas in Al-Raqqah city, including the streets of Tel Abyad, Al-Mansour, Al-Qoutly and Al-Amasy, the parks of Al-Bustan, Al-Rasheed and Al-Murouriyah, Al-Na’im roundabout and the banks of Euphrates riveer.

The patrols have inspected suspects and young men harassing passers-by and shopkeepers.
