In conjunction with cessation of their activity against American bases for about 20 days | IRGC and Lebanese Hezbollah conduct military exercises for more than 120 members in Homs desert

SOHR sources reported that the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are conducting military exercises in the depth of the eastern desert of Homs. The exercises are being conducted for more than 120 new recruits to the ranks of the militia, all of whom are of Syrian nationality from Deir Ezzor and Homs. The militias recruited them during the recent period, by exploiting the catastrophic living conditions within regime-held areas and luring them with a monthly salary of about one million SYP and a monthly food basket, in addition to security privileges.
According to SOHR sources, the exercises are supervised by Iranian and Lebanese leaders and are taking place within a military field belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah in the vicinity of Marhatan village, using live ammunition and hitting fake targets. The exercises are expected to continue until the end of Ramadan month, with the recruits being distributed to the positions of the militias in Al-Bokamal and Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor.
The exercises coincide with the cessation of the Iranian-backed groups activities against American bases in in Syria for about 20 days, specifically since February 25, under orders from the military leadership of the Iranian militias.
