Weeks after arresting him | Civilian dies under brutal torturing in security prisons of the regime

A civilian from Al-Bokamal City eastern of Deir Ezzor died under brutal torturing and lack of medical attention in prisons of the regime, nearly a month after he was arrested by the Criminal Security Department in the city.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2024 has reached 12, including a political activist, a writer and a university student.
