In infiltration operation | Eight regime soldiers killed and injured by HTS in Latakia countryside

Othman Bin Affan brigade, affiliated with “HTS”, carried out an infiltration operation against regime positions in Al-Kabinah frontline in the northern countryside of Latakia, within “Putin-Erdogan” area. Accordingly, armed clashes, with heavy and medium weapons, erupted between the two sides, which resulted in the killing of five regime soldiers and the injury of three others who were taken to the hospital for treatment.
In a related context, regime forces carried out a sneak operation on the positions of the “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” factions on Kafar Ammah frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo, and armed clashes erupted between the two sides, before the withdrawal of the forces to their positions.
Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 115 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 123 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 56 combatants and 53 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

14 civilians, including five children and a woman.

78 members of regime forces, including four officers.

26 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
