Left hanging from a tree | Horrendous murder crime take place in Tartous countryside

Tartous province: The body of a man in his 40s was found in Al-Saisaniya Village in Safita area in Tartous countryside, where his body was found hanging from the branch of a tree in his agricultural land and his body showed signs of several stabs.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the local authorities exposed the murderer who had disputes with the victim, where he came to his workplace, put poison in his food, stabbed him with scissors and hanged his body from a tree.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 80 murders in regime-controlled areas since the bingeing of 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 86 fatalities, including 13 women, 68 men and five children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Daraa: 24 murder crimes left 20 men, including six women and two children dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: Eight murder crimes left six men, a woman and a child dead

Rif Dimashq: 14 murder crimes left ten men, three women and two children dead.

Homs: Ten murder crimes left ten civilians dead.

Hama: Five murder crimes left five civilians dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two civilians dead.

Deir Ezzor: seven murder crimes left six men and a woman dead.

Damascus: Four murder crimes left a woman and three men dead.

Lattakia: Three murder crimes left three men and a woman dead.

Tartous: Three murder crimes left three men dead.
