While attacking civilian truffle pickers in the Syrian desert | ISIS members stay away from members of the 4th Division

Various areas of the Syrian desert, especially Deir Ezzor desert, are witnessing a dangerous escalation by ISIS cells against civilians and members of National Defense Forces through ambushes, attacks, leaving casualties.
These attacks primarily target civilians, despite the presence of groups of the 4th Division in the desert.
Meanwhile the 4th Division also works to take over truffle season under the pretext of combating ISIS members, where no casualties have been reported among members of the 4th Division yet.

On February 16, SOHR sources reported that the administration of the Fourth Division that is led by “Maher Al-Assad” (the brother of the head of the regime), sent a large group of its members towards areas of Deir Ezzor Desert under the pretext of “fighting ISIS cells”, while aiming to take over the season of “truffle” in the Syrian Desert.

Meanwhile, the forces deployed in areas within Deir Ezzor Desert to obtain the harvest for their selves and prevent civilians from approaching the area.
