To escalate attacks on SDF positions | Commanders of Iranian-backed militias and Lebanese Hezbollah hold meeting in Deir Ezzor city, following staging military parade

Deir Ezzor province: Iranian-backed militias staged a military parade yesterday in Deir Ezzor city with the participation a convoy of 35 4×4 vehicles, nine ambulances cars, combatants, anti-armor weapons and shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles.
The convoy roamed the streets in Al-Jourah neighborhood Al-Wadi street and the main road, where flags of the Lebanese Hezbollah and several other militias loyal to Iran were lifting.

This coincided with a meeting held on the Villat Al-Dahiyeiah in Al-Jourah neighborhood, where “Nawaf Ragheb Al-Bashir”, “ Firass Jaham”, “Haj Rasoul” and an officer of in military intelligence called “Abu Assad” were attended the meeting. It is worth noting that the meeting discussed intensifying attacks on positions and points of SDF.

This comes in light of escalating attacks by local gunmen on positions and points of SDF.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that two members of the Iranian militias of Syrian nationality were killed in the last stronghold of “ISIS” in Al-Arqoub village, in Al-Baghoz town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after they were ambushed by SDF, while confronting an infiltration operation carried out by an Iranian-backed armed group, where armed clashes erupted between both sides, and violent explosions were heard in the village.
According to information obtained by SOHR activists, the two killed persons were from the Iranian-backed militias, and their bodies are still in the hands of SDF, amid ongoing tension in the town.
