For “abusing drugs” | Civilian shoots his son de*ad in a town in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: A civilian shot his son dead due to disputes between them after the father discovered that his son abuses drugs, in Al-Shahil Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside within SDF-held areas.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 17 murder crimes in SDF-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motivations behind the others remained unknown. These murders left 19 civilians fatalities; they are distributed regionally as follows:
– Al-Hasakah: Two children and a man.
– Deir Ezzor: Ten people including a woman and a child.
– Al-Raqqah: Five men.
– Manbij: One man.
