Continued anti-regime peaceful movement | People of Al-Suwaidaa commemorate passing of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash”

Al-Suwaidaa province: The peaceful movement of the people of Al-Suwaidaa province continues against the regime and its government, as dozens of civilians gathered today in Al-Karamah Square in the centre of Al-Suwaidaa city, renewing their demands for the toppling of the regime, the peaceful transition of power, the implementation of international resolutions, and the release of detainees. The demonstrators then headed from Al-Karamah Square towards Al-Qarayya town in the southern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, to participate in commemorating the passing of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash”, the leader of the Great Syrian Revolution. The demonstrators lifted placards with slogans written on them including; “Dignity is an irreplaceable value”, and lifted pictures of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash”, while dozens of residents from the countryside also headed toward Al-Qarayya town.
Yesterday, dozens of people gathered in Al-Sir square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, confirming the continuation of the peaceful uprising and demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the implementation of UN Resolutions and release of detainees. The protesters held banners with anti-regime slogans.
