By snipers of HTS | Regime soldier killed on frontline in Aleppo countryside

A regime soldier was killed by snipers of HTS on the frontline of Miznaz in the western countryside of Aleppo, within “Putin-Erdogan” area.
Exchanged targeting, including bombing, infiltration and sniping, continues between the factions on the one hand, and the regime forces and the militias supporting them on the other hand, resulting in causalities within “Putin-Erdogan” area and its frontlines.
Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 125 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 139 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 56 combatants and 54 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

• 15 civilians, including five children and a woman.

• 87 members of regime forces, including four officers.

• 32 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

• Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

• One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
