Information regarding casualties | Five Syrian members of Lebanese “Hezbollah” injured in attack near Al-Saida Zainab

Rif Dimashq province: Five Syrian gunmen of the Lebanese “Hezbollah”, who are the guards of the headquarters that was targeted by Israel in Al-Bahdaliya area in Al-Saida Zainab in Rif Dimashq, were injured, amid information regarding casualties inside the headquarters.

Explosions were heard in Rif Dimashq, due to Israeli strikes on farms of the Iranian militias and the Lebanese Hezbollah in Al-Bahdaliya area near Al-Saida Zainab, where it is unknown whether the attack targeted a gathering of commanders of the militias or not, amid information regarding injuries.

Since the beginning of 2024, SOHR has documented 27 Israeli attacks on the Syrian territory: 19 airstrikes and eight rocket attacks by ground forces. Those attacks destroyed nearly 55 targets, including weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles.

The Israeli attacks left 60 combatants dead and 48 others injured. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

14 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen.

Nine Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen.

12 members of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Ten members of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

12 Iraqi persons.

13 Members of Lebanese Hezbollah.

In addition, ten civilians, including a woman, were killed in the Israeli strikes and ten others were injured

The attacks are distributed as follows:

Damascus and Rif Dimashq: 13 attacks.

Daraa: Seven attacks.

Homs: Three attacks.

Al-Qunaitrah: Two attack.

Tartus: One attack.

Deir Ezzor: One attack.

SOHR would like to point out that Israel sometimes targeted more than one province in a single attack.
