To collect ransoms | Gunmen from Nubl and Zahraa detain drivers from Afrin and confiscate their cars

Aleppo province: Armed men from Nubl and Zahraa have confiscated several civilian cars and detained the drivers, where they were moved the detainees to security centres in the towns and their fate remains unknown.
It is worth noting that the detainees had been displaced from Afrin city and live in northern Aleppo countryside.

The militias in Nubl and Al-Zahraa use the residents of Afrin as a pressure card to obtain advantages, by committing kidnaps and blackmails.

On February 10, SOHR sources reported that gunmen from Nubl and Al-Zahraa released 20 detainees displaced from Afrin as they were kidnapped on the road between Aleppo and Afrin on February 7, while 20 others are still detained and their families are required to pay 50,000,000 Syrian Liras for their release.

On the same context, the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” detained five gunmen from Nubl and Al-Zahraa along with their vehicles, to pressure the gunmen to release the detained residents of Afrin, amid negotiations taking place between both parties to release detainees on both sides.
