IED explosion | Brigadier general close to Lebanese Hezbollah assassinated in Rif Dimashq

Rif Dimashq province: An officer ranked as brigadier general, who is close to the Lebanese Hezbollah, was assassinated by an IED explosion in his car in Jadida Artouz in Rif Dimashq.

The victim is a mines and explosives engineer, and responsible for coordinating with Hezbollah and militias in south western of Damascus at borders between Syria and Lebanon and borders with the occupied Syrian Al-Golan in Al-Qonaitara countryside.

A few hours ago, Southern provinces of Syria, especially Daraa and Al-Qunaitrah countryside near the occupied Syrian Golan, have witnessed escalating of attacks and assassinations attempts of regime officers and combatants.

SOHR sources reported that a regime Brigadier General sustained various injuries due to the explosion of an IED planted by unidentified individuals in his car in Jdeidat Artouz in Rif Dimashq, where positions of Lebanese Hezbollah militia are deploying.
