Amid exchange of attacks on Urm Al-Sughrah frontline | Six members of HTS and regime captain killed in western Aleppo countryside

Six members of HTS were killed during an infiltration operation carried out by members of HTS on regime positions on the frontline of Urm Al-Sughrah in western Aleppo countryside, where violent clashes erupted between regime forces and HTS.
According to reliable SOHR sources members of Lebanese Hezbollah militia participated to foil the infiltration operation, where a regime captain was killed during the clashes.

The clashes coincided with firing heavy artillery shells and ‘Katyusha’ rockets by HTS on regime positions on the frontline amid reports of casualties.
Meanwhile, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells and rockets on the vicinity of Kafr Ammah and Kafr Ta’al villages in western Aleppo countryside.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 128 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 149 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 56 combatants and 54 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

• 15 civilians, including five children and a woman.

• 91 members of regime forces, including five officers.

• 38 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

• Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

• One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
