29th attack in 2024 | Israel targets the area of scientific researches in Jamraya in Damascus

At least four Israeli missiles were fired on the area of scientific researches in Jamraya in Damascus setting fire to the location, while the anti-aircraft weapons of the regime attempted to block targets over the region.

Coincidently, ambulance vehicles rushed to the location of the attack.

SOHR documented 29 attacks in 2024: 21 airstrikes and eight rocket attacks by ground forces, during which Israel targeted several positions in Syria, destroying nearly 58 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles. These strikes killed 115 combatants and injured 47 others. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

 

13 Iranian members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

19 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

12 Iraqi persons.

23 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen.

Ten Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen.

38 regime soldiers.

In addition, those attacks left ten civilians, including a woman, dead and nearly 20 other civilians injured.

 

The attacks are distributed regionally as follows:

 

Damascus and Rif Dimashq: 14 attacks.

Daraa: Seven attacks.

Homs: Three attacks.

Al-Quneitra: Two attacks.

Tartus: One attack.

Deir Ezzor: One attack.

Aleppo: One attack.

SOHR would like to point out that Israel sometimes targeted more than one province in a single attack.
