Ongoing security chaos in Daraa | IED explosion leaves nine children dead and injured, while local militias accused of planting it to assassinate a man

Daraa province: Eight children were killed and another was injured due to the explosion of an IED in Al-Majbal neighbourhood in Al-Sanameiyen city in northern Daraa countryside, where a loud explosion was heard in the neighbourhood, amid a state of panic among civilians.
It is worth noting that pro-regime militants are accused of planted the IED to assassinate a man from the neighborhood.

Since early 2024, SOHR activists have documented 83 incidents of security disorder in Daraa province, which left 103 people dead; and they are as follows:
* 32 civilians, including two women and 11 children.
* 33 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.
* Five men accused of “involving in drug business.”
* Three members of the Russian-backed 8th
* 12 ISIS members, including a commander.
* 15 members of local factions.
* A regime dissident colonel.
* One unidentified person.
* One former fighter who underwent reconciliation in 2018.
