“De-escalation” zone | Little girl dies of her wounds in earlier regime’s artillery fire on Sarmeen town in Idlib countryside and regime soldier injured on frontline in northern Latakia

A little girl died affected by the injury she sustained due to earlier artillery fire by regime forces on Sarmeen town in eastern Idlib countryside.
On the other hand, regime forces renewed their attacks on the vicinity of Kafr Ta’Al in western Aleppo countryside, but no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, a regime soldier was injured in gunfire by a sniper of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room on the frontline of Jabal Al-Akrad in northern Latakia countryside.

It is worth noting that the “de-escalation zone” experiences frequent gunfire, infiltration operations and exchange of bombardment between regime forces and opposition factions.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 143 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 173 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 58 combatants and 65 civilians, including six children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
* 18 civilians, including seven children and two women.
* 106 members of regime forces, including seven officers.
* 42 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
* Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.
* One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
* One non-Syrian jihadist.
