Military escalation | Exchanged artillery shelling between SDF and gu*nmen on western bank of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor province: Members of SDF stationed at Euphrates River in Jadid Okaidat, Al-Sabha Town and Al-Shahil Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, shelled checkpoints of the National Defence on the opposite bank of Euphrates River in Al-Bolail and Boqros Towns in areas of regime forces and Iranian militias, with mortar shells and machineguns.

On the same context, National Defence forces and local gunmen responded by shelling checkpoints of SDF on eastern bank of Euphrates River. However, no casualties were reported.

Yesterday, members of SDF stationed on the banks of Euphrates River in Al-Shahil City in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside fired heavy artillery shells on positions near Boqros Town on the western bank of Euphrates River, after monitoring movements of Iranian militias towards the eastern bank.
