The Sharia Court in I’zaz issue amnesty for the detainees in Eid al- Adha

SOHR received a copy of amnesty issued by the Central Sharia Court in the city of I’zaz on the occasion of  Eid al- Adha, where it declared that the amnesty is going to be carried out according to the following items mentioned by the statement.

 

The first item: full punishment period in the adjudications that do not exceed 3 months

The second item: half of the punishment period in the adjudications of more than 3 months and do not exceed a year.

The third item: quarter of the punishment period for the adjudications that exceed a year.

 

The amnesty concluded, “The amnesty excludes the adjudications of al- Hodud, al- Qasas, the crimes of insulting Islam and its rituals, moral and security crimes that relate with drugs and personal rights.”
