Ongoing violations | Members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” kidnap young man for collecting ransom and civil police release civilian for 2,500 USD

Aleppo province: Members of a patrol of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” kidnapped a young man from Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) while he was in Azaz city in northern Aleppo countryside for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.”
The members asked his family to pay a large ransom to release him.
Similarly, civil police released a civilian from Kamrouk village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo countryside for 2500 USD, where he was arrested on March for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.”
On April 7, SOHR sources reported that Turkish authorities released a man in his 50s for 3,700 USDs. According to reliable SOHR sources, the civilian is from Al-Uwaija Neighbourhood in Aleppo City, and he was arrested on March 14, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration.”

Moreover, the military court of the Turkish forces released a civilian from Shaikhorza Village for 400 USDs ransoms after he was arrested for four years.
