Ongoing uprising in Al-Suwaidaa | Dozens of people participate in protest in Al-Sir square, demanding overthrow of the regime

Al-Suwaidaa province: Dozens of people participated in a protest in Al-Sir square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, confirming the continuation of the peaceful uprising against the Syrian regime.
The protesters demanded freedom, the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the release of detainees and the implementation of UN Resolution No.2254, where they held banners with slogans written on them that read: “long live a state ruled by the people under the law,” “no fair judiciary with the presence of the security grip,” “security approvals are one of the regime’s tools to suppress and blackmail Syrians.”
On April 13, SOHR sources reported that dozens of people participated in a protest in Al-Sir square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, demanding the toppling of the Syrian regime, freedom, the implementation of UN Resolution No.2254, the release of all detainees in regime’s prisons and the political transition of power.
The protesters held banners with slogans written on them that read: “the Syrian regime remains silent and the Syrian embassy in Lebanon reserves the right to respond,” “the overthrow of Al-Assad’s regime is the beginning of a safe return for all Syrians.”
