Military escalation | Regime forces attack positions of factions with 14 kamikaze drones leaving five members kil*led and injured

A member of HTS was killed and three others were injured after regime forces targeted a civil car with an anti-tank missile on frontline of Taqad Village in western Aleppo countryside.

On the same context, a member of Jaish Al-Ahrar was killed after regime forces targeted military positions on Ma’arat Al-Na’asan frontline in Idlib countryside, while members of HS were injured on Kafr Amma frontline in Aleppo countryside due to exchanged attacks on frontlines.

Meanwhile, HTS fired artillery shells and missiles on positions of the regime forces on Basraton frontline in Aleppo countryside.

On the other hand, 14 kamikaze drones were launched by the regime on Sahl Al-Ghab and countryside of Idlib, Lattakia and Aleppo, where the drones attacked two positions in Al-Mashiak, two others in Khirbat Al-Naqous, one other in Al-Qahera Village, one other in Al-Sirmaniyah and one other in Al-Aso’ous all of which are in Sahl Al-Ghab in Hama countryside, in addition to two positions in Al-Turkman Mountain in Lattakia countryside, two positions in Kafr Amma and two others in Kafr Nouran in Aleppo countryside.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 156 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 183 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 67 combatants and 73 civilians, including eight children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
* 18 civilians, including seven children and two women.
* 110 members of regime forces, including eight officers.
* 47 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
* Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.
* One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
* One member of Jaish Al-Ahrar.
* One non-Syrian jihadist.
