To dominate routes used for smuggling and send cells to fight SDF | Iranian-backed militias demand joining “Al-Busarayah” tribe to their ranks

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that a meeting was held in the house of “Abdullah Shalal Al-Abdullah,” a notable of “Al-Busarayah” tribe, and attended by “Ibrahim Al-Hafal,” the elder of “Al-Akidat” tribe and “Nawaf Al-Bashir” the leader of the pro-Iranian “Al-Baqir Brigade” in Al-Kharetah village in areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias in western Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the notable of “Busarayah” tribe demanded the joining of gunmen of the tribe to Iranian-backed “Jaysh Al-Ashayer” which is led by “Laith Al-Bashir” in order to increase the military power, increase the number of militiamen to dominate routes using for smuggling and to send more cells to SDF-held areas. However, this demand was met with refusal by the Busraya tribe’s elder “Mahna Al-Fayyad.”
On January 29, SOHR sources reported that armed clashes erupted between members of Al-Bosaraya Tribe and Osoud Al-Sharqiya militia, after the latter group accused a member of Al-Bosaraya of “participating in the assassination of a commander of Osoud Al-Sharqiya that is backed by the regime and Iran two days ago.

The clashes left a young man shot with a stray bullet, amid information regarding mobilization of members of Al-Bosaraya Tribe near headquarters of Osoud Al-Sharqiya in Al-Dahiya Neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor City within areas of regime forces and their militias.
