Amid popular discontent | Three houses sold by Ankara-backed gunmen and 40 olive trees cut down in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: A gunman sold the house of a civilian from Bablit village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside, for a sum of money of 1,000 USD, in Al-Ashrafiah neighbourhood in Afrin city.
Another house was sold near Bilal Mosque in the same neighbourhood by another gunman, for a sum of 110,000 USD. The house belongs to a displaced person from Qajuman village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside.
In the old neighbourhood of Afrin, a gunman seized the house of a civilian from Amara village in Maabatli district in Afrin countryside. He divided the house into two parts, and then sell one of the two parts to another gunman for a sum of 900 USD.
As part of a series of ongoing violations within “Olive Branch” area, on April 13, a gunman cut down 40 olive trees near Kokan village in Maabatli district in Afrin countryside, which owned by a civilian from the village.
