“Putin-Erdogan” area | Regime officer killed in bombing by “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” factions on frontline in northern countryside of Latakia

An officer with the rank of “Captain” was killed in a ground bombardment carried out by factions of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” Operations Room on the frontline of the northern countryside of Latakia, within “Putin-Erdogan” area.
Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 159 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 185 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 67 combatants and 78 civilians, including ten children, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
* 18 civilians, including seven children and two women.
* 112 members of regime forces, including eight officers.
* 47 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.
* Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.
* One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
* One member of Jaish Al-Ahrar.
* One non-Syrian jihadist.
