To prevent official delegations from reaching Martyrs’ edifice | Roads blocked and entrances closed by protesters in Al-Suwaidaa countryside

Al-Suwaidaa province: Residents of Al-Mazraah town in the western countryside of Al-Suwaidaa blocked the roads leading to the town with burning tyres, as an expression of their rejection of the regime forces’ official and party delegations heading to visit the edifice of the martyrs of the Battle of Al-Mazraah, in conjunction with Closing the northern entrance to the town by a group of residents from Al-Qarayyah town in the southern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, to prevent official delegations from arriving at Sultan Pasha Al-Atrash edifice.
Peaceful demonstrations continue in Al-Suwaidaa demanding freedom, the toppling of the regime, the peaceful transition of power in the country and the release of detainees.
Yesterday, dozens of people gathered in Al-Sir square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, lifting placards with slogans that read: “ the right of safe return,” “ we stand here by our peaceful uprising.”
