After mediation by “Manbij Military Council” | Turkish-backed factions and “Tahrir Afrin Forces” swap prisoners and bodies of combatants in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo province: Factions operating under the banner the Turkish-backed “National Army” have swapped prisoners of the factions with bodies of fighters of “Tahrir Afrin Forces” (Afrin Liberation Forces) at Awn Al-Dadat crossing in eastern Aleppo. This comes after mediation by “Manbij Military Council Forces.”

 

According to SOHR sources, “National Army” factions handed over four bodies of fighters of “Tahrir Afrin Forces” in return for the release of four prisoners of the “National Army.”

 

On January 30, SOHR sources reported that five members of Afrin Liberation Forces were killed in armed clashes erupted between them on the one hand, and “Al-Ashmat” and “Al-Hamzah Division” factions on the other hand, on the frontline of Kimar in Sharan district in Afrin countryside.

 

The clashes coincide with the ongoing shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies, of Al-Wahshiyah, Ahras, Samouqah, Belouniyah and Tel Rifaat villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and Maraanaz and Shawargah villages in Sharan district in Afrin countryside, in addition to Soganakah and Mayassah villages in Shirawa countryside, within areas of deployment of the Kurdish forces and the regime.
