Since beginning of 2024 | 25 cases of suicide reported throughout Syria most of them children and women

Since the beginning of this year, the rate of suicide has increased by various means, in all regions of Syria, regardless of the controlling parties, due to the conditions that the country is going through, and for various reasons, the most prominent of which is poor living conditions. According to SOHR monitoring, 25 cases of suicide have been documented, most of them children and women, due to psychological pressures, economic, social and other conditions.

The regional distribution was as follows:

– HTS-held areas: Six cases

– Regime-held areas: Ten cases

– SDF-held areas: Four cases

– Areas held by Turkish forces and their proxies: Five cases
