Three years of detention | Member of “Jund Al-Aqsa” excuted in HTS prison

A member of “Jund Al-Aqsa” Organization was executed in a prison of HTS after three years of detention, where HTS refused to hand over his body to his family. This coincided with a state of public anger and discontent in the region.

HTS recently began informing the families of detainees in its prisons about their conditions and revealing their fate after forming a committee to follow up on their cases.

On April 18, SOHR sources reported that HTS informed the family of a young man who previously worked in the ranks of “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq battalion” of his death inside HTS prisons, after his arrest on November 19, 2020, on charges of placing IEDs for the joint Turkish-Russian patrols on the M4 road in Idlib countryside. The young man hailed from Maarzita village in the southern countryside of Idlib.
