Failed coup attempt in Al-Moatassem Division | Military Police arrests commander to subject him to military trial in Aleppo

Aleppo province: Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah stopped the commander of Al-Moatassem Division (Mostafa Saijary) in A’zaz City northern of Aleppo and handed him over to the Military Police to be subjected to military trial in Al-Ra’aiy Court, following a failed coup attempt in the division, where the commander “Moatassem Abbas” was injured in his hand and his brother was killed.

The commander “Mostafa Saijary” had announced the dismissal of the leader of the division, stripped him of all military, security and administrative authorities and referred him to internal investigation for “treason, corruption and abuse of power.”

Moreover, Saijary accused the leader of the division of “turning the division from a faction a private commercial company of Abbas Family in Marae’ City.”
