Ongoing security chaos | Attempted assassination targets prominent collaborator with Lebanese Hezbollah in Rif Dimashq

Rif Dimashq province: SOHR sources have reported that “Kheiro Al-Badawi” a prominent member working for the Lebanese Hezbollah and the 4th Division sustained serious injuries and his brother was slightly injured in gunfire by unidentified gunmen, while they were in a car on the road between Bayt Jin town and its farm in Rif Dimashq, after they had left a house.
“Kheiro Al-Badawi” was taken to the hospital for treatment, while his brother was slightly injured.

Assassination operations against regime officers and those close to the Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Syria have clearly escalated, all of which were carried out through direct targeting and IEDs by unknown gunmen, leaving casualties.
Since the beginning of April, SOHR has documented six operations, which resulted in the death of five people and the injury of one, including two persons close to the Lebanese Hezbollah.

On April 13, SOHR sources reported that a member of a local armed group died in a hospital in the capital Damascus, after being directly shot by unidentified gunmen in Al-Lojaa area in eastern Daraa countryside.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the member works in drug dealing and smuggling and is known for being affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah militias and officers of the regime.
Moreover, he is accused of “handing over several young men to the regime in Al-Lojaa area north eastern of Daraa.”
