Trap of Syrian regime | Incitement against Syrian refugees in Lebanon force them to leave

A wave of incitement against the Syrian refugees in Lebanon forced some of them to return to Syria without security guarantees, in light of talks of a plan to return Syrians to their countries in the upcoming times.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a significant amount of non-wanted Syrian civilians including children and women left Lebanon during the past few days, due to the violent acts by some Lebanese civilians against Syrian people, without interference from the Commission that claims the right of Syrians to return to their country.

Meanwhile, the Syrian regime continues arresting Syrians returning from out of Syria in light of violating of human rights and committing crimes against them, taking advantage of the conditions that forced the people to return to Syria, where a woman from Al-Suwaydaa countryside was arrested nearly five days after arriving from Lebanon and was taken to a security centre in Damascus for “collaborating with opposing parties”, and they didn’t allow her lawyer or family to meet her.

Members of the Airforce Intelligence took unprecedented measures against people who want to enter Homs City from the northern side, with a campaign of inspection and searching of official documents of civilians.

Activists of SOHR confirmed that the security searching and inspection peaked with the increase of Syrians returning from Lebanon to Syria with help of smugglers.

Lebanon hosts nearly 805,000 Syrian refugees registered at the UN, and a number of unregistered refugees.
